Another fantasy series finished.

Today I listened to the last half hour of The Last Olympian, the end of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series.  It was okay.  Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows stomps it for sheer drama. Characters died, but most of them weren't fleshed out enough for me to care when they did.  The one major character that did die wasn't that well developed either.  I just wanted to finish the series so I could have some sort of closure.

So, Harry Potter, Harry Dresden (really, really good), and Percy Jackson down, and the last Dexter book (it was a yawner, it took me a while to get back to that one).  Now I don't know what I'm gonna do.  I have some Star Wars audiobooks, which have had good production values in my experience, and I have a few of those collecting dust around here somewhere.

I could get back to Sookie Stackhouse, but Sookie and Bill were annoying the hell out of me, which is why I took a break from them.  Too much of a good thing and all that.

There's some non-fiction I've been wanting to get around to, so I guess that will be my summer reading.
